Jalbert, Albert, a resident of Torrance for 50 years passed away on December 3, 2005. He was born in South Berwick, Maine on January 11, 1922. He was a veteran of WW II and saw action in North Africa and was awarded the Purple Heart. He was a member of the DAV and the VFW. He was employed at both the Portsmouth NH and the Long Beach Navy Shipyards as an electrician for 30 years. Survived by wife of 60 years, Ula, son, Norman (Reva) daughters Lynn Jalbert, granddaughter Shelly (Russell) Irons and several nieces and nephews. Visitation Wednesday, December 7, 2005 from 4 until 8PM with vigil service at 6:30PM both at Rice Chapel. Funeral mass Thursday, Dece, ber 8, 2005 at 10AM at St. James Church, Redondo Beach. Inurnment in Riverside National Cemetery.
