Albert G. Ritz

Ritz, Albert George a 50 year resident of the South Bay passed away on Thursday, April 29, 2004 in Torrance. Born in Butler, New York, Albert was 76. Albert had served in the Air Force during World War II. He retired in 1991 after 35 years of service with Garrett Airesearch. He has been a member of the Holy Name Society and an usher at St. Catherine Laboure for over 45 years. He also belonged to the ''Bad Boys'' who will surely miss him. Albert is survived by his devoted wife, Helen Ritz of Torrance, CA; son, Michael (Margaret) Ritz of Santa Paula, CA; daughters Virginia Ritz of Yuba City, CA, Susan (Ivan) Rasmussen of El Camino Village, Kathy (Gary) Braasch of Gardena, and Mimi Ritz of Long Beach; along with 6 grandchildren and one great-grandson. He is also survived by 2 brothers and 2 sisters. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, May 10th, 2004, at 10:00am at St. Catherine Laboure Church in Torrance.
