  1. The news was very shocking. When saw her picture on this site I cried for the first time. The picture shows how she was, always smiling and a very happy person, who shared that with everyone she had contact with. I can remember the mornings when she was ready to drive her grandaughter(sunny)myself and my sister (wendy) to West High School mon-thurs. We werent old enough to drive, so she was our so called (chauffeur)Every morning she was so happy to take us to school, and always had words of encouragement about staying in school and studying very hard. Mimi always was at all the get togethers. She enjoyed being in the crowd. She made it a point to talk to everyone at least once. She was always wanting to know what was new in our lives. I was glad to have gotten to talk to her in Oct. 2000 at Sunny\’s B-day party. Like always she had me sit next to her and answer her many questions. I remember walking her and Milton to the car that night and getting a big hug from them both. Especially Mimi, she was so huggy and kissy that way. I can remeber how she liked to watch her soap operas and in the eve. she had to have her wine. In college I did a report on Milton, and Mimi would always diappear in her room and sit in her favorite chair and watch her tv. and knit. Every thirty minutes or so she would always come in and check on me and see if i needed something to drink or to make sure that Milton hadn\’t bored me too death yet. She was soo funny like that. Always made you laugh. And she was definately sharp as a tack. She didnt miss much, that was for sure. Mimi- godbless and you will be surely missed greatly. LOVE ALWAYS CHAD MILLER

  3. I used to volunteer with Dodie at the South Bay Medical Center. She was always such a joy to be around and I especially loved her sense of humor. I will miss Dodie and my fondest wishes are with you. Sincerely, Susan Page

  4. We were very sorry to hear of Dodie\’s passing. I and my staff here at the dental office liked her very much. She always seemed to put a little sunshine in our day when she came in. She did not come in often and was surprised when we remembered her. All we have to say to that is….. Who could forget her??? She was a bright light and she will be missed. Dr Carl, Kelly & Stephanie could forget her??? She was a bright light and she will be missed. Dr Carl , Kelly & Stephanie
