On Sunday, November 10th, 2019, Segundina "Dina" Lemire, our loving mother and Nana, passed away at the age of 76 at her home in Hawthorne, CA.

Segundina was born on January 15, 1943 in Legaspi, Philippines to parents Laurianno and Filicicima Navarra. Having attended school through 10th grade, she spent 36 years as a CNA, retiring from her position at Spring Retirement in 2005. On February 14, 1970, she married Albert Eugene Lemire. They raised two sons, Laurianno and Edmond, and a daughter, Sandra (Villalva).

You could always find Dina in her garden between the many orchids and fruit trees, admiring nature at home and when she travelled. She spread her love through her cooking and her freshly baked banana bread. She is remembered for her generousity and compassion to everyone around her. After 19 years of fighting through heart disease, she is now resting in her Eternal Garden with the Lord.

Segundina is preceded in death by her husband, Albert, parents Laurianno and Felicicima, and siblings, Yolohia (sister), Porperia (sister), Catalino (brother), Vising (sister), Marsden (brother), and Coring (sister).
She is survived by her sons, Laurianno (Ellie Lemire) and Edmond (Cindy Lemire), daughter, Sandra (Luis Villalva); grandchildren, Matthew and Candice Villalva; along with many nieces, nephews and wonderful friends.

The viewing will be held on November 29th from 5pm to 9pm and service on November 30th at 10am at Lighthouse Mortuary in Torrance, CA followed by interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery in Long Beach, CA. Condolences may be sent to the family residence.
